Carmelita Ruffin

The death is announced of Carmelita Ruffin also known as “Tanty Lit” of Birchgrove, St. Andrew, who resided in the USA. She was a former teacher at Byelands R C School and passed away on Friday 13th May 2022 in Queens, New York at age 77. Left to mourn are daughter of the late Peter Vivi and Annie Ruffin, business owners and pillars of the Birchgrove community. She was the sister of Francis Ruffin in the USA, Maria Farray, Derrick and Justin Farray of Birchgrove and Nugent Smith in Grenada.

Aunt of many including Nicole, Devon, Kira, Karen and Vanessa Ruffin, Raffie, Erma and Marilyn Farray, Yvonne Noel, Marva Noel-Ugorji, Trevor, Denzil and Jean Noel and Dr. Yvette Noel-Schure all in the USA, June, Linzy, Lindon, Valon, Gale, Alpha, Jeanette, Jaclyn, Sherlyn, Belinda and Earlyn Farray in Grenada.

Many other relatives and friends in Grenada and abroad including the Lewis, Berkley and Frederick families of Birchgrove and the Charles Family of Grenville.
