Amida Bubb nee` Slocombe of La Borie who resided at Grand Mal and Archibald Avenue, St. George. A retired worker of the Calabash Hotel passed away on Saturday 22nd April, 2023 at age 88. She was the mother of Wayne Bubb. Adopted mother of Sonia Slocombe. Grandmother of Kyana and Bjorn Bubb, Patrick Edwards, Shem Slocombe and Akia McKie. Sister of Ivor Slocombe of Laborie. Mother-in-law of Suzan Bubb. Sister-in-law of Patrick Bubb of Mt. Gay and Wilma Slocombe. Aunt of many including Father Raymond Roberts, Wynsome, Hilaria and Ewart Slocombe, Yvette Mckie of River Road and Nelcia Care giver Esing Carridge.
