I’ve seen it a hundred times over the course of the years. And to this day, I still don’t understand. Yes, I get that you love your man. But he does not love you. Let me explain…
She suspected that her boyfriend was cheating on her. You know, he couldn’t keep the facts straight, never let her see his phone, and certainly always said that it was all in her mind. But she ignored the signs. She didn’t listen to her friends {which I actually agree with in most circumstances.} But then she came home one night, and she caught him cheating. And the first thing she did is physically assault the other women.
Why do you fight for a man, who will not fight for you? He has not shown you respect. He has brought dishonor into you relationship. The woman who he was cheating with did nothing to you. She owes you nothing. She has no ties, and yet you hit her. This is not about her. This is about you. And despite the warning signs and suspicions, you overlooked them.
Did you know that there was a study done years ago about this very thing. Women who suspected that their man was cheating…get this, were right 80% of the time. Ouch! Come on men. We need to step up and bring that number down. And on the flip side of that coin, men were only right about half the time. Either way, it is never okay, in my opinion to hit the side chick {or dude.} Sure, it’s messed up that they were sleeping with a married or committed person. But, they have no skin in the game…for lack of a better term. They took a shot and nailed it {excuse the pun.} Shooters, shoot. Your partner on the other hand, they were fully invested in the relationship. They bare the responsibility and fault.
So ladies…and men. Should you find your partner is cheating on you, please do not engage in a fight. I get it. You’re hurting. But fighting for a man or women who is not fighting for you, is a war not worth fighting. Holster your pistol and walk out the door. There are many things worth fighting for. This however, is not one of them.

You’re welcome. Have an amazing weekend!
Oh how I love this blog.never fight for someone who wouldn’t fight for you
This is typical of most relationships, especially in the beginning. Most men are players in the beginning until they are seriously committed. I have experienced the phone and it’s all in your mind BS and guess what? I was correct.
True. Many of us do not know that. We love with our heart and emotions and not our head ___ meaning wisdom.
Vance I enjoy reading your writings they cause you to examine yourself, sometimes we have to adjust accordingly.
