Pearl Dorothy Mithcell

Pearl Dorothy Mitchell aka “Cousin Pearly and Ma Pearl” of Mt. Airy, St. Paul, St. George passed away on Sunday 16th July, 2023 at age of 90. She was the beloved daughter of the late Iris La Touché and Wilson Mitchell. Mother of Louise Redhead and Julien Mitchell in Grenada, Derrick Mitchell in Canada, and Gloria Arnold, Adrian Mitchell, Kiron Mitchell and Patricia Ezenne in the USA, She was also the mother of the late Jean Cadore.Mother in law of Kester Redhead in Grenada and Pastor Godwin Ezenne in the USA, Ermine Mitchell and Mavis Hyacinth Mitchell in the USA, and Sherlann Mitchell in Grenada. Sister of Sylvia, Margaret, Winifred (Trinidad), Wilma Pierre (USA) and Shirlin Mitchell and three brothers: Keith Castle in the USA, Michael Senator Mitchell, and Jerome “Guy Fox” Mitchell in Grenada. Her legacy lives on through her 22 grandchildren including: Laureen, Terron, Lerry, Leon, Daneel, Sarana, Trisha, Steffen, Malica, Michelle, KJ and Lystra in the US. Thirty great grandchildren including, Shaheim, Ava, Ryan and Jordan in the US. Two great great grands including Cameron. She leaves behind numerous other friends, and relatives including Inez Robinson and the family of Creighton, St. Paul’s, the Crawford family, Carlton and Phyllis Cadore, the John family of Mt. Parnassus, the priest and members of the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Ashmore and Sonia Scott, The Benoit family, as well as the La Touche and Mitchell family, will cherish the memories of their time spent with Pearl. Special thanks to her devoted caretaker Sandra Benoit- who provided unwavering support and care during her later years

The Funeral of the late Pearl Dorothy Mitchell aka “Cousin Pearly and Ma Pearl” of Mt. Airy, St. Paul, St. George will be on Thursday 17th August, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. George and interment at the Mt. Airy Cemetery.
