Tehera Charles is a Grenadian model, who resides in La. Sagesse St. David. She has been in the modeling and fashion industry for five years focusing mainly in print/commercial modeling. In 2016, she embarked on a program called, Beauty has no skin tone. “My program gives inspirational lectures to young people and is about encouraging them to appreciate themselves regardless of their skin tone”, she proudly stated.

She was named model of the month for December 2017 by the Caribbean styles and culture, a Maryland based organization in the United States. In 2018, Tehera visited Washington DC to receive the Caribbean Style and Culture Print Model of the year award for her significant contributions made to the modeling industry in the Caribbean region.

This Spice Island model has graced the pages of the i-fashion magazine and walked the runways of Vogue New York Fashion Week, Vogue DC Fashion Week and Walk Fashion Show in Virginia.

Tehera was scheduled to represent Grenada at the 24^th world championship of performing arts (WCOPA) in long beach California. The event is a gathering of singers, dancers, jugglers and models participating in a performing arts competition. Very similar to the Olympic games, only qualified competitors represent their countries in the quest for the gold medals. WCOPA calls the competitors “world stars” more than 60 countries were scheduled to participate in this year’s event, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the event was canceled. It is now schedule for July 30^th– August 8^th  2021, which Tehera will participate in.

“It is always exciting when one can go out in the world to represent ones country especially in the arts and modeling industry. How honored am I to be representing my beautiful country Grenada,” remarked Tehera.

Currently, Tehera has a new program called Discover Fashion and Entertainment a 30-minute production which will be aired every Saturday from 3pm to 3:30pm on MTV channels 9,10 (off cable) and 18^th(on cable) and will also be uploaded on her YouTube channel (Tehera Charles).

It is a platform for fashion designers, models, fashion entrepreneurs and talents in the performing arts. An exciting mix of information, education, inspiration, entertainment and engagement, a program that gives the Grenadian public an opportunity to get to know the talents on the island, hear their story and support them .
