Magdalene Pivott aka “Selma Amada” of Happy Hill, St. George passed away on Saturday 21st October, 2023 at 65. Left to mourn are her children Odessa Amada-Sylvester, Vernessa Francis, Arisa St. John, Denisa, Francis and Joshua ‘Akello’ Amada. Husband Alwyn St. John. Adopted son Davis Charles. Sons-in-law Anthony Sylvester, Peter Fletcher and Ricardo Francis. Grandchildren of 16 including Jayden, Rena, Renessa, Hadara, Joshua, Mikhail, Makena, Akello Junior, Caleb and Isaiah in Grenada, Tyrell in the USA. Three adopted grandchildren including Samuel, Anthonia and Jada. Siblings Juliet ‘Carol’ Hunte and Elizabeth ‘Bernadine’ Sampson in USA, Kennie, Roger, Alfred Amada in UK, Ralston Amada and Martin Braveboy in Grenada and Ann Marie ‘Hermin’ Mitchell in Canada. Aunts and uncles Ruby Roach, Cathleen Duncan and Ella Amada in UK, Kathleen Cummings and Judy Landgon in Grenada. Nieces and nephews of 25 including Rogerick and Katisha in Grenada, Lydon and Shane in the US, Kitchshaw and Marah in the UK. Many grand nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Goddaughter Tiny Samuel. Godmother Afia Hillaire. In-laws including Donna and Marva Amada in UK.
