Mene Tovi Lewis

We have a winner. Mene Tovi Lewis from Antigua and Barbuda is our Painting Contest Winner. Meme entered the contest with her Painting that she referred to as Mode. Mene stated:

“The contest was overall a foreign experience being my first one. I tried my best to get my artwork in front of as many people in my community as possible to gather votes. It was a very challenging contest as well, with people from all around the region. All the paintings were well done so I did feel like I had a lot of competition from the beginning to the end. 

I think the best part about the contest was the exposure I gained. Having my artwork in front of more eyes is always a challenge and any opportunity to do so is a blessing. It was also great to see mainly Caribbean artists representing their country. 

A thank you goes out to I Am Grenada team who held their patience together with my many questions and inquiries throughout the contest. I plan to use the $500.00 US currency to invest in my other creative fields, mainly music. There is a lot I want to do with my music which can only be done with funds.”
