Perry Richardson is from Mt. Agnes in St.David’s and specialize in colored pencil drawings. This piece is a tribute to one of his late heroes Chadwick Boseman. “Wanting to create something different from what I usually do, Perry explained, “I experimented with the use of multiple colors to create different tones.”
From his collection, this portrait is the most realistic. “The face was done entirely with pencils and the background with mainly markers. I am delighted to being a participant of the said competition as it allows my talent to be showcased to a wide audience. If I should win, it would be a great honor.”
