But eventually it will make sense. And that usually hits around the time that the storm is gone, and you no longer think of the pain on a daily basis. In fact one day, you’ll be resting your head on your pillow and think, “I have not thought of that pain once today”.
Want to know the difference between a victim and a survivor? The survivor sees the pain has a purpose. The victims purpose is to see the pain. And there is no respect in that. We all cope with healthy and unhealthy behaviors. Raise the bar and run to the storm. There is a big difference from giving up and getting up. And you’ll know what you’re ready to do, by the way you run.
There is a storm coming. And it will cleanse you. All you need to do is be willing to get wet.
